Description

High-purity green silicon carbide micropowder is the primary sintering raw material for manufacturing all core components of SiC ceramic pumps. It features ultra-low iron and magnetic impurities, uniform particle size distribution and complete crystal structure, which guarantees high density, compactness and excellent air tightness after high-temperature sintering.

Advantages of SiC Ceramic Pumps

    Silicon carbide has Mohs hardness of 9.2–9.5, far superior to stainless steel, cast iron and graphite. It withstands long-term transportation of abrasive media containing sand, mineral particles and slurry without scratching or rapid wear.
  2. Extreme chemical corrosion resistance
    SiC is chemically inert against strong acids, alkalis, brine, seawater and various organic solvents. It will not dissolve or rust under harsh chemical working conditions.
  3. Superior thermal performance
    High thermal conductivity quickly dissipates friction heat to prevent seal surface burning during dry running; low thermal expansion coefficient keeps tight fitting of sealing faces under drastic temperature changes, effectively avoiding medium leakage.

    Sintered SiC ceramics have almost no internal pores, suitable for high-pressure fluid delivery applications.
  5. Extended service life
