Silicon Carbide Powder as Wear Resistant Coating for non -stick pan

Non-stick pan coating materials generally use 800#, 1200#, 1500# black and green silicon carbide powder.

Using polytetrafluoroethylene as the main raw material, it is combined with certain additives to form polytetrafluoroethylene coating, which is applied to metal surfaces such as aluminum and iron plates. After high-temperature sintering, it is used as an anti-stick coating for contacting non-acidic food containers. The use temperature is limited to below 250°C.

The use temperature and acid and alkali resistance of non-stick pans are improved after the use of silicon carbide powder. Silicon carbide itself is non-toxic, so silicon carbide powder is a new material for non-stick pan coating!

Green silicon carbide, with the chemical formula SiC, is made of quartz sand, petroleum coke (or coal coke), sawdust (salt is needed to produce green silicon carbide) and other raw materials through high-temperature smelting in a resistance furnace. It has high strength, high hardness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, high thermal conductivity, good high-temperature stability, low linear expansion coefficient, strong chemical corrosion resistance, etc.
