Electro Abrasives Green SiC is an entirely new batch composition made from silica sand and coke. It has high strength at elevated temperatures and is 7.5 times stronger than Aluminum Oxide. It’s extremely hard with a Knoop rating of 2600 (Mohs 9.4).
Green SiC is very versatile and can be used in aerospace, blasting, coatings, composites, compounds, honing stones, kiln furniture, lapping, polishing, refractories, sawing silicon and quartz, vitrified and resinoid grinding wheels and more.
